Brayden Marsh
Hi, I am Brayden Marsh. I am currently a junior at NC State studying English with a concentration in writing and rhetoric and a French minor and International Studies minor.
I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when I was nine years old. From that point on I grew my interests in guitar, writing, and reading. My many endeavors have lead me to where I am now. My current endeavors are Capital City Pressure Pros LLC and my band The Otherdays. I am the Corresponding Secretary of NC State’s chapter of Phi Gamma Delta and will hold that position until November 2023.

ECOSYSTEM
Fraternity
Throughout my time in NC State’s Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, I have fostered new relationships and gained new opportunities through the connections I have made. Joining a fraternity allowed me the opportunity to travel to Washington, DC and St. Louis, Missouri for international events. I found my first internship through one of my fraternity brothers.
I have served as the Service and Philanthropy chair, Mental Health Chair, and Pig Dinner chair. I currently serve on the executive board as Corresponding Secretary.
My roll as Corresponding Secretary involves all exterior communication with parents, graduates, and our fraternity’s international headquarters. This semester I am organizing our end of the year banquet as well; Frank Norris Pig Dinner.
The Otherdays
During my late high schools years and all the years I have been in college, I have participated in many bands. My First band was called Zeal and my second band was called Nearly Strangers. Since both of those bands have disbanded, I have created a new band called The Otherdays. I am the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of this band.
